The ishapore was produced in India as a stop gap until the fn fal became available, a .303 Enfield chambered in 7.62 , it had a square magazine which makes it noticeable, although this one has the .303 magazine fitted 
Manufacturing began in the 1950’s and the rifles were in service until the 1980’s and still in use with police until recently 
This example has been lightly restored having the wood re stained walnut and re oiled , stunning example with leather sling and comes with a slipper clip and five rounds of 7.62
This rifle is fully deactivated and comes with a certificate, its bolt can be removed and it cocks and dry fires
